The Made in NY Awards are set to celebrate Darren Aronofsky, Michelle Buteau, Tracy Morgan, and Teamsters president Thomas J. O'Donnell on June 16, 2025. Established by MOME, these awards honor the contributions of film and television artists to New York City's cultural landscape. This year's event will be hosted by Mayor Eric Adams at Gracie Mansion, and for the first time, MOME will jointly present an award with the Tribeca Festival to Aronofsky on June 10 during a special presentation of his film 'Requiem for a Dream.'
"From the gritty defiance of 'Taxi Driver' to the electric tension of 'Do the Right Thing,' films made in New York City don't just entertain - they define generations."
"Created in 2006 by MOME, the 'Made in NY' awards shine a light on the film and television artists who bring the streets and iconic locations of New York City to screens around the world."
