Spotify launched Party of the Year(s), a Wrapped-style experience for subscribers. The feature invites users to flash back to their earliest platform listens. Users guess their first song through a multiple-choice prompt. After revealing the first streamed track, the app provides two additional usage stats: the all-time most streamed artist measured by streamed minutes and the all-time top songs. The feature is tied to Spotify’s 20th birthday celebration. The timing is somewhat confusing because the listening service began in 2008 while the company was founded in 2006.
