The musical historical drama follows Alexander Hamilton’s life through the American Revolutionary War, his role as an aide to George Washington, his career, and the duel with Aaron Burr that cost him his life. The story is presented through a fusion of hip hop, rap, jazz, and other musical styles, compiled from filmed performances from the 2016 run with the original principal cast.
