"It was my secret weapon. I had this tune that nobody else had, and it was a really good encore."
"I got a call from Mick Jagger and he said he'd heard it and he liked the mix,"
"But his management was just like, 'No, not even negotiable'."
"Never say never - they're alive and I'm alive, and none of us are ever going to retire."
Norman Cook, known as Fatboy Slim, created a remix titled "Satisfaction Skank" using a sample of the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." The remix became a concert favorite and functioned as a distinctive encore. Mick Jagger personally liked the mix, but the Stones' management initially refused clearance. The Rolling Stones later provided master tapes so Cook could produce a higher-quality official mix. The official release includes a new music video featuring AI representations of Fatboy Slim and the Rolling Stones performing together. Cook indicated that a real-life live performance remains a possibility.
