WU LYF Announce New Album A Wave That Will Never Break, Share New Song
"The vision for the L Y F has been with us since the start. Way back in 2010 when we first sold the white on white bandana with the Heavy pop / Concrete Gold 12" - We foresaw a community of like-minds that would gather around the flame of our music, and through whose direct support we could operate with freedom, autonomy & the truth; to play our own (infinite) game."
WU LYF, an English indie rock band, announces their second studio album A Wave That Will Never Break, arriving April 10th after a 15-year gap since their 2011 debut Go Tell Fire to the Mountain. The album will be released exclusively through the band's L Y F community platform and will not appear on major streaming services. Produced by Sonic Boom, known for work with Spacemen 3, Panda Bear, and Beach House, the album follows the band's 2025 reunion announcement. WU LYF originally disbanded in 2012 but reunited in March 2025, releasing "A New Life Is Coming" after 13 years of silence. The band is touring North America starting March 24th in Brooklyn through May 9th in Los Angeles.
