Worm announce new album 'Necropalace,' share 10-minute title track & short film
"Welcome to the domain of dread known as NECROPALACE. This fortress has kept my memories and nightmares for centuries. Risen from ancient slumber, the curse is once again free to haunt starlit nights. While approaching the icy gates of Castle Ravenblood, a swirling mist begins to form. Phantom figures surround you. Enter if you dare but be warned, the darkness may consume your mortal soul forever. The ultimate evil has returned..."
"The first single is the 10-minute title track, which comes with a short film/music video directed by Norman Cabrera. The song is a mini epic, a multi-part suite with elements of black metal, death metal, goth, prog, symphonic music, and more, and it's perfectly suited for the cinematic video that it soundtracks. Check it out below."
Necropalace arrives February 13 via Century Media as Worm's first release for the label. The album presents a gothic horror concept set in a fortress called Necropalace, invoking memories, nightmares, and an ancient curse. The lead single is a 10-minute title track accompanied by a short film/music video directed by Norman Cabrera. The music functions as a multi-part suite that blends black metal, death metal, goth, progressive, and symphonic elements to create a cinematic atmosphere. The seven-track record opens with Gates to the Shadowzone (Intro) and closes with Witchmoon - The Infernal Masquerade featuring Marty Friedman.
