Walsh is offering more than 400 guitars and nearly 800 lots through an auction organized by Julien's Auctions at the Troubadour, including cars, recording gear, ham radio equipment and garments such as a red-brick-pattern Moschino suit. Items span his solo career and time with the Eagles, the James Gang, Barnstorm and the All-Starr Band. Walsh states he is not in debt and wants the items to find good homes. A portion of proceeds will support VetsAid, which assists veterans and their families. Walsh expresses concern about inadequate care for veterans and the visibility of homeless veterans.
