"Waxahatchee have announced a run of North American tour dates for 2026, and this time Katie Crutchfield and her band are bringing along a co-headliner: MJ Lenderman. They will perform both solo and together at shows starting next April at Atlanta's Symphony Hall, with further stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Toronto, Minneapolis, Seattle, and elsewhere, with support from Nashville country artist Brennan Wedl. Check out the full itinerary below."
"Waxahatchee's latest album was 2024's Tigers Blood. In February, Crutchfield released the standalone single " Mud," an outtake from Tigers Blood's recording sessions. More recently, she teamed up with her twin sister, Allison, to form the band Snocaps (with accompaniment from Lenderman) and surprise-release a debut album in October. Snocaps will also hit the road for a brief tour next month."
"MJ Lenderman's latest studio LP, Manning Fireworks, arrived in September 2024. Since then, the Asheville, North Carolina, singer-songwriter collaborated with This Is Lorelei's Nate Amos for " Dancing in the Club (MJ Lenderman Version)" and contributed a new song to a benefit compilation for Asheville-based artists affected by Hurricane Helene last year. He also reissued Guttering, a 2021 collaborative EP with Wednesday."
Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman will co-headline a North American tour in 2026, performing both solo and together beginning April 13 in Atlanta and visiting major cities including New York, Toronto, Chicago, and Portland. Nashville country artist Brennan Wedl will provide support on the run. Waxahatchee released Tigers Blood in 2024, issued the outtake single Mud in February, formed Snocaps with twin sister Allison and released a surprise debut album in October with a short tour planned. MJ Lenderman released Manning Fireworks in September 2024, collaborated on a new version of Dancing in the Club, contributed to a Hurricane Helene benefit, and reissued the Guttering EP.
