Drive-By Truckers are staging their 2026 HeAthens Homecoming with four nights at The 40 Watt in Athens, GA, featuring different openers each night. MJ Lenderman opened the first night, backed by Snocaps bandmates Brad Cook on bass and Colin Croom on drums. The set included debut performances of new material and covers of songs by Vic Chesnutt, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, and Pink Floyd, as well as a cover of Patterson Hood's "Uncle Disney." Patterson Hood joined the band to perform the rare Drive-By Truckers song "Bob," sung by Croom. Lenderman will tour solo with Waxahatchee this spring and later support Zach Bryan; Drive-By Truckers and Hood have upcoming shows including a March 17 date at Jersey City's White Eagle Hall.
