War on Women will release their fifth album, Time Under Tension, on May 8 via Smartpunk Records and have debuted the single "Messages Unsent." The single delivers the band's garage-y punk sound while shifting lyrical focus to a personal love song from vocalist Shawna Potter. The song examines having something to lose, mortality, care, and the persistence of love. The accompanying video compiles behind-the-scenes footage from the band's first post-2020 tour.
