Violet Grohl, age 19 and daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, released debut solo singles "THUM" and "Applefish." "THUM" channels a 1990s alternative rock vibe reminiscent of Veruca Salt, Hole, and The Breeders, while "Applefish" offers a slower, cinematic mood highlighted by Violet's velvety vocals. The songs are available physically as a 7-inch vinyl on Bandcamp with "THUM" as the A-side and "Applefish" as the B-side; "THUM" is also streamable.
