The St. Lawrence String Quartet, founded in 1989, has performed internationally and now partnered with Stanford University to create the St. Lawrence Legacy Series. The program hosts three of today’s leading string quartets for week-long residencies at Stanford that prioritize community engagement, collaboration, and mentorship. Each residency concludes with a special performance at Bing Concert Hall. The current residency features the Viano Quartet performing Beethoven’s “Harp” Quartet alongside Saratoga singer Vienna Teng, who will also present several of her original pieces.
