Belgian quartet Ão released the single "Orgulho" and a captivating video, previewing the album Malandra due February 13. The track features delicate acoustic guitar and Brenda Corijn's poignant vocals, balancing pride and melancholy. Brenda was inspired by an interview with her mother, whose reply — "Jealous isn't the right word, but I would like to be that which you are" — shaped the song titled Orgulho (meaning "proud"). Ão blends electronica, art-pop, saudade and alternative Latin music, merging Portuguese and English vocals with distinct guitar, electronic textures, and eclectic percussion. Three German dates are scheduled for March 2026.
