Underscores, the project of April Harper Grey, has announced her third studio album titled U, releasing March 20 on Mom + Pop Records. The album is led by three singles: "Music," "Do It," and "Tell Me (U Want It)." Grey created the album specifically as ambient music for public spaces including malls, airports, hotels, and supermarkets. The nine-track album features songs like "Hollywood Forever," "The Peace," "Innuendo (I Get U)," "Lovefield," "Bodyfeeling," and "Wish U Well." At least one track was written at the Mall of America. The single "Music" was recognized on The 100 Best Songs of 2025 list.
