"Manchester, UK band Westside Cowboy are relatively new, having released their first single in 2024 and their debut EP, This Better Be Something Great, in August, but they've already made a name for themselves and gotten opening slots with Blondshell, Black Country New Road, Ezra Furman, and more. They've now signed to Island Records imprint Adventures Recordings and will release their first EP for the label, So Much Country 'Till We Get There, on January 16. The record was made with producer Loren Humphreys (Cameron Winter, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey)."
"It's a short one, but we feel like we fit everything in: a riff, some verses, some choruses, Conga breakdown and some other stuff. We like songs that feel like they are going somewhere, cycling, driving, pogoing, but this one's definitely a runner. Whether that's towards you or with you, I guess that would be up to the listener to decide."
