U2 Return with New EP Easter Lily
""With Easter Lily, we ended up asking very personal questions like: Are our own relationships up to these challenging times? How hard do you fight for friendship? Can our faith survive the mangling of meaning that those algorithms love to reward?""
""Eno produced the album's closing track, 'COEXIST (I Will Bless The Lord At All Times?),' which the band wrote for the parents of children growing up in war zones.""
Easter Lily is U2's second EP of 2026, following Days of Ash. The EP features a collaboration with Brian Eno and includes six tracks. The opener, "Song for Hal," honors producer Hal Willner, who passed away in 2020. The band reflects on personal relationships and faith amidst modern challenges. The closing track, produced by Eno, addresses the struggles of children in war zones. The release coincides with a new edition of their Propaganda zine, which includes various contributions from the band members.
