The Stray Cats canceled their fall U.S. tour after frontman Brian Setzer became unable to perform because of a serious illness. Setzer previously disclosed in February 2025 that he had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease affecting his hands and his ability to play guitar. Setzer said he had tried everything to continue but that performing was not possible and expressed devastation and heartbreak. The canceled dates spanned October 25 through November 23, 2025, and covered venues across the United States including Mount Pleasant, Rockford, Louisville, Indianapolis, Columbus, and multiple venues in New York, California, Arizona, and Nevada.
