"The show must go on, even without the person who helped popularize it. The Glambot was still pushing and pulling on the red carpet on Sunday at the Grammys, but the "Glambot guy," Cole Walliser, was nowhere to be seen after a month of drama. In a clip shared on E! News' socials, not on Walliser's personal page, another producer is directing Grammy winner Bad Bunny for his pose."
"During one of the first red-carpet events of the year, fans felt that Jennifer Lopez was rude to Walliser while she was recording her Glambot, prompting the producer to post a video defending Lopez and other potential rude celebrities on the carpet. Soon after, emails from Walliser leaked, in which he was "dismissive and curt" toward a bride who wanted to book a Glambot for her wedding. So maybe E! didn't want to bring all of this bad blood to the Grammys."
Glambot units were used on the Grammys red carpet while Cole Walliser, the producer closely associated with the tool, was absent amid recent controversy. A clip on E! News' socials showed another producer directing Bad Bunny for his Glambot pose. Walliser has produced Glambot segments for E! News but does not own the Glambot name used for red carpets. The network is reportedly rethinking its strategy for the high-speed-camera pit stop after public complaints about a Jennifer Lopez interaction and leaked emails showing Walliser being "dismissive and curt" toward a bride seeking to book a Glambot.
