To celebrate 25 years of Lorelai and Rory, the original Gilmore Girls soundtrack is available digitally for the first time. The release is also available to preorder on vinyl from WaterTower Music and will be issued on CD and cassette. The album was created in partnership with Amy Sherman-Palladino and features composer Sam Phillips's original music from all seven seasons. The collection contains 18 tracks composed of soft guitar strums and the show's signature "la, la, las" used to return from commercial breaks. Mutant pressed five limited-edition vinyl variants, with specifics for tour, online, and retail availability and a later coffee-filled collectible.
