"Bay Area Community Health (BACH) hosted "Care Can't Wait," a community wellness event, on Dec. 29 at Tres Hermanos Mexican Grill. The event drew over 200 attendees seeking preventive care, clinical services and Medi-Cal enrollment. Throughout the day, different BACH departments from Santa Clara and Alameda county clinics connected community members to services. A total of 17 Medi-Cal registrations were collected, including 14 new patient registrations, spotlighting the reach of individuals who were previously disconnected from care."

On-site clinical services included 12 blood pressure screenings, 11 A1C tests, 10 dental screenings and six flu vaccinations. Additionally, 15 same-day provider visits were completed.
