The event will feature 70 musicians from Symphony San Jose, over 20 Chinese-American organizations, and 170 chorus members. The performance showcases Xian Xinghai's cantata, which blends Western classical elements with traditional Chinese folk music, inspired by Guang Weiran's poem. The event takes place on Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, with tickets available for $35-$125.
