""I'm just thrilled," Nicks has told People. "It's the only good thing since I broke my shoulder," added the 77-year-old singer, who was forced to reschedule tour dates due to the injury."
""They're a story of my whole musical life," the Nicks said of her two dolls, which both capture important moments in her life. "If I have a legacy, if I have 'What do I leave behind that is sacred?' I think that it'd be Barbie. Rumours and Bella Donna Barbie are a huge part of what I leave behind when I go on to the next planet.""
""when I did the Bella Donna cover, I said, 'No. I have to wear the exact opposite. I have to wear all-white.' ... and then I eventually, of course, went back to black.""
Stevie Nicks is getting a second Barbie doll modeled on her Bella Donna solo album cover, complete with a flowing white gown, white boots and a black top hat. The new doll was designed by Carlyle Nuera and follows a 2023 Rumours-inspired Barbie that sold out twice. Nicks described the Bella Donna doll as meaningful amid a recent shoulder injury that forced tour rescheduling. Nicks regards the two dolls as emblematic of her musical life and legacy and expressed interest in having many of her iconic outfits reproduced as Barbie dolls. The Bella Donna edition was released October 21 and sold out on Mattel.
