Spotify Wrapped's new Party feature lets you compare music stats with friends - here's how
"Like traditional Wrapped, Party gives you a deep dive into your listening stats, including what artists you listen to and how much playtime they get. It takes things a step further, though, and lets you compare stats in a live show of sorts with up to nine friends and earn unique awards among your friend group. You can either host a party or join a friend's party."
"If you're joining a party, just tap the link. If you want to set one up, search for "Wrapped Party" in the Spotify app or find it at the end of your personalized Wrapped. If you're a host, you'll pick the party name and profile image (updates made to your party profile image are also reflected on your Spotify account) and then share the unique link with your friends."
Wrapped Party is an interactive live group session that lets up to nine friends compare Spotify listening stats in real time. Hosts choose a party name and profile image, share a unique link, set a start time, and can pass hosting duties; profile image updates also sync to the host's Spotify account. Guests must be logged in concurrently to participate and may join or host multiple parties but only be in one at a time. During a party, participants see who streamed the most minutes, who had the rarest listen, who discovered the most new artists, and musical compatibility. Guests can earn awards that celebrate unique listening habits. Each party's results and awards depend on the invited guests.
