Robbie Williams delayed his latest album to avoid direct competition with Taylor Swift and then secured a 16th UK Official Albums Chart No. 1. The tally includes the Better Man soundtrack, 12 solo studio albums, two greatest-hits collections, and the 2022 compilation XXV. Williams had been tied with The Beatles since January 2025 after the Better Man soundtrack reached number one. The Beatles first held the record following Sgt. Pepper's in 1967 and last topped the chart with the 2000 compilation 1. Williams is preparing a UK run performing Life Thru a Lens and Britpop in full, followed by a European summer tour.
