"Ed O'Brien has announced a new solo album. Blue Morpho is the follow-up to 2020's Earth, which he released as EOB, and the first album he'll release under his own name. It's due out May 22 via Transgressive, and it was produced by Paul Epworth. Other contributors include Shabaka Hutchings, composer Tõnu Kõrvits, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra."

Ed O'Brien, guitarist from Radiohead, has announced Blue Morpho, his debut solo album under his own name, following his 2020 release Earth under the EOB moniker. The album is produced by Paul Epworth and features collaborations with saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings, composer Tõnu Kõrvits, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. Blue Morpho will be released May 22 via Transgressive Records. The title track has been shared with an accompanying music video directed by Kit Monteith. A film titled Blue Morpho: The Three Act Play premiered at SXSW and will be released alongside the album.
