""Everybody goes through life with ups and downs, and you can find your way. Along the way, people come around and they're not your people. Accept the people who are trying to help you.""
Wes Scantlin, frontman of Puddle of Mudd, has avoided prison time after a domestic battery and drug possession case. He was arrested in March 2025 following a physical altercation with his girlfriend, where drugs were found. A judge accepted a plea deal allowing him to participate in a one-year diversion program and complete drug rehabilitation instead of serving jail time. Puddle of Mudd recently released a single titled "Free" from their 2025 album, and Scantlin is also working on an autobiography with his brother.
