"The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE), in partnership with six school districts, has been awarded $1.98 million to expand career technical education for grades K-12. The funding comes from the Bay Area Community College Consortium's Round 8 K12 Strong Workforce Program. Through this initiative, the SCCOE will collaborate with the Fremont Union High School District and other partnering districts, including the Metropolitan Education District, East Side Union High School District, Gilroy Unified, Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District and Santa Clara Unified."

The Santa Clara County Office of Education received $1.98 million from the Bay Area Community College Consortium Round 8 K12 Strong Workforce Program to expand K–12 career technical education with six partner districts, prioritizing lab upgrades, program expansion, new pathways, early college credit, industry certifications and work-based learning. The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority released a free 19-page activity book, "I Love Nature," illustrated by Robert Liu-Trujillo and available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese for ages 3 and up.
