Emo revival vets Marietta recently announced that they're coming back for a fall reunion tour (with awakebutstillinbed) and a set at Best Friends Forever, and now their classic 2013 debut album Summer Death is getting a vinyl reissue on October 3 via Lame-O Records. We've got an exclusive "neon sun" variant that's limited to 300 copies and up for pre-order in the BV shop now.
The album originally came out on October 21, 2013, about a year and a half after Marietta released the split EP Couples Therapy with Modern Baseball, back when both bands were hardly known outside of their small Philly scene. It's been reissued a few times over the years and this is its first release on Lame-O Records, the same label that was started in 2012 to release the first Modern Baseball album.
The NYC show of Marietta's tour is at Warsaw on October 7, and also has local support from Nervous Dater. Tickets are on sale, and you can see all dates below.
