The Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame class of 2025 includes five Living Artists, five Legacy Artists, and two industry non-performers. Living Artists named are Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton and Tom Rush. Legacy Artists named are Leonard Cohen, Aretha Franklin, Mississippi John Hurt, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Muddy Waters. Industry non-performers named are John Hammond and Alan Lomax. An induction ceremony open to the public is scheduled for March 24, 2026 at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre, with tickets to go on sale later. Expect an open-to-the-public concert this spring and a new legacy exhibit at the Boch Center Wang Theatre.
