"When The Bowery Presents first formed in 2004, we had worked with venues including Webster Hall, Mercury Lounge, and Bowery Ballroom, producing club shows throughout Manhattan. Music Hall of Williamsburg arrived at a time when the North Brooklyn neighborhood was having a cultural awakening, and we were among the first music clubs to open in the neighborhood and establish tenure."

Music Hall of Williamsburg opened in September 2007 as a Bowery Presents venue and played a central role in North Brooklyn's cultural awakening. The venue helped establish Bowery Presents' presence beyond Manhattan and prioritized artist development and emerging talent. Owners of 66 North 6th Street have declined to renew the lease, requiring the venue to close or relocate at the end of 2026. Bowery Presents will continue to produce shows at Music Hall throughout the next year.
