NY-based musician Margaret Sohn, performing as Miss Grit, will release a second album titled Under My Umbrella on April 24 via Mute. The record follows 2023's Follow the Cyborg and includes collaborations with Aron Kobayashi Ritch and Preston Fulks (Momma), Sae Heum Han (mmph), Margaux, Eva Liu and Luciano (mui zyu), and Zachary Mezzo (Catcher). The album features the October single "Tourist Mind" and the preview track "Stranger," described as a twisty electronic track. Sohn reports greater honesty in songwriting and a deep personal connection to this record. A few release shows are scheduled, including April 24 in New York City.
