Fab Morvan, one of the two faces associated with Milli Vanilli, will perform at the Freedom 250 event on the National Mall on June 26. Morvan said the goal is to entertain and unite people, celebrate life and music, and revisit the group’s legacy. A press release from the vocalists who actually sang Milli Vanilli’s hits announced they would not perform at The Great American State Fair. They said other acts using the name should be treated as tribute bands with no vocal or musical association to their sound. The group’s real vocalists were later revealed after a lip-syncing scandal unmasked the visual stand-ins. Morvan has also expressed interest in touring the United States and has performed in the 1990s-themed concert circuit.
