Miley Cyrus Confirms Engagement After Fiance Surprises Her In Special Location
""I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered," she said. "I actually had never gone to Japan, which I did that purposefully. I wanted one place in the world that could be my special place that I saved for me.""
""Me and Maxx have been together for four years, and it's very obvious the drastic amount of growth that I've had in those four years. You just want to dream the biggest you can, and you want to have someone by your side that always tells you, 'You can do it.'""
Miley Cyrus confirmed her engagement to Maxx Morando and showed her engagement ring on Good Morning America. Morando proposed during a recent trip to Japan, a destination Cyrus had purposely never visited so she could reserve it as a private place. Cyrus and Morando have been together for four years and collaborated professionally, including on Cyrus' album Something Beautiful and his appearance on her NBC holiday special. Morando is the drummer for the rock band Liily. The engagement ring was designed by Jacquie Aiche, who has made pieces for other high-profile artists.
