Micky Dolenz Announces "60 Years of The Monkees" 2026 Tour
"I've spent nearly my entire life either in front of or behind the cameras or microphones, Much of what I've been able to share with the world has come from this thing called The Monkees - this wacky musical-comedy TV show about a band struggling for success. Interestingly, on the show, the Monkees never actually made it. Off-screen, however, we sold out concerts all over the world."
"I remain proud of what I've achieved in my time, particularly with my late great and still-beloved Monkee brothers Davy [Jones], Peter [Tork], and Michael. What I want to do, as the 60th anniversary of that wonderful moment is upon me, is to look back and share with the fans the sheer joy of what we accomplished - and what it all still means to so many."
Micky Dolenz announced a 2026 "60 Years of The Monkees" tour beginning February 12 in Solana Beach, California, with stops including Austin, Los Angeles, and Atlantic City. Tickets go on general sale November 14 at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, with an artist pre-sale using code MICKY2026 available through November 13. The setlist will present Monkees hits in chronological order, combining chart-topping classics and fan favorites with warmth, wit, and stories. Dolenz aims to celebrate the group's achievements and share their legacy. Dolenz remains active on a separate Songs & Stories tour through early December and is the last surviving Monkee after Michael Nesmith's 2021 death; Davy Jones died in 2012 and Peter Tork in 2019.
