Members of The Blood Brothers Form New Band Evil Island
"Three members of the post-hardcore act The Blood Brothers have formed a new band called Evil Island. The news was shared Monday on Instagram by vocalist Johnny Whitney. Whitney is joined in Evil Island by his Blood Brothers bandmates Mark Gajadhar (drums) and Cody Votolato (guitar), along with bassist Autry René Fulbright (Off!, ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead)."
"In announcing the band via a video message, Whitney said, "We have a lot of really exciting news and plans to share." He also teased an audio clip of one of the songs, which sounds chaotic and fast in the same vein as the Blood Brothers. The Blood Brothers' original run lasted from 1997 to 2007. They reunited for a few shows in 2014, and again in 2024 for a full US tour."
