Los Angeles musicians released the benefit single We Are LA! marking one year since the L.A. wildfires. The single, billed as the "Punk Rock to the Rescue Single," supports the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides services and financial assistance to career musicians and industry professionals. Grants cover medical and living expenses including insurance premiums, prescriptions, medical treatment, housing, food, utilities, and other necessities. The song features many punk and rock collaborators highlighted by Jonny Two Bags, Rami Jaffee, Eloise Wong, Jim Lindberg, and Mike Watt. A signed guitar and T-shirt from nearly all performers are being auctioned through January 18 at 10 p.m. ET to benefit the fund.
