Megadeth will present a worldwide theatrical event on January 22 that pairs the film Megadeth: Behind the Mask with a world-premiere full-album listen of the band's self-titled final studio album. The event will screen in over 1,000 cinemas across more than 35 countries on the eve of the album's January 23 release. The film looks back on 40 years of the band, includes Dave Mustaine sharing untold stories and a career-spanning interview, and features Mustaine's track-by-track breakdown interwoven with the album playback. Tickets go on sale December 11 at 9 a.m. ET and a trailer will debut then. Megadeth also announced a 2026 Canadian leg of their farewell tour.
