Marilyn Manson's scheduled UK concert for his One Assassination Under God Tour was canceled following pressure from campaign groups including No Stage for Abusers and MP Sian Berry. The event, set for October 29 at the Brighton Centre, faced backlash due to allegations of rape and assault against Manson, which were ultimately dropped due to the statute of limitations. Berry articulated concerns about the negative impact of Manson's performance on survivors of abuse within the community, leading to the eventual cancellation of the concert after Ticketmaster began issuing refunds to customers.
However, after a year-long investigation, the case against him was dropped in January. Prosecutors argued they would not be able to bring charges that prove Warner was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Last week, Green Party MP Sian Berry expressed her concerns about Warner's scheduled performance in her constituency in Brighton, writing an open letter to the leader of the Brighton and Hove city council.
