Paul Barrere, the band's longtime guitarist and singer, died in 2019. Little Feat shared their latest album, Strike Up the Band, earlier this year. Alongside the tour announcement, they've shared " Feathers and a Smile," a song written by the band's late co-founder Lowell George and sung by his daughter, Inara George."
Little Feat announced the Last Farewell Tour, beginning in April with shows across the southern United States and a planned global leg to follow. The multi-year wind-down will reduce the band's travel while allowing continued performances and recordings as members remain able.
