Lana Del Rey Changes Album Name to Stove, Aims for January 2026 Release
Briefly

Lana Del Rey has titled her upcoming country album Stove, with a likely release at the end of January. The project grew as Del Rey added six additional songs that proved more autobiographical than expected, extending the production timeline. The album leans heavily into a country sound while acknowledging a broader industry shift toward country music. Del Rey wrote a song for her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, called “Stars Fell on Alabama,” and currently opens live shows with that track. Two singles released this year, “Henry, Come On” and “Bluebird,” are believed to appear on the new record.
The majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country. Now everyone is going country! I've asked myself, Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?
They were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time,
I open my show with that song, "Stars Fell on Alabama." Jeremy is the most impactful person in my life. He's quiet in public, but around me he talks all the time.
