""Due to the close proximity of our next court hearing in London on September 26th - as the British government continues its witch-hunt - with the start of the U.S. tour, we will have to cancel all 15 US tour dates in October," the band said last month. While the trio will be able to complete their upcoming dates in Canada, Kneecap have decided to offer a special livestreamed show for their fans across the pond."
""USA Fenians and Fenians across the world.... on October 10th we will be with you LIVE and direct from Ireland. We were not willing to allow this British witch-hunt stop us playing to tens of thousands of fans across the US so have a very special gig to bring to you from Ireland. Join us on October 10th for much more than a gig... it is a moment for us all to stand together in defiance and solidarity.""
Kneecap will livestream a one-off concert for U.S. fans on Friday, October 10 at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST from a secret location in Ireland. The livestream costs $15 and features special guests throughout. The band canceled all 15 U.S. tour dates in October because of a September 26 London court hearing related to member Mo Chara's terror offense charge, but will complete Canadian dates. A Kings Theatre, Brooklyn viewing party will screen the livestream on a big screen and includes a screen-printed poster; tickets for the Brooklyn event go on sale Friday, September 5 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
