The decision was hinted at with a provocative statement during the promotion of a demo collection available exclusively on Bandcamp. Unlike other artists facing contractual complications in leaving Spotify, King Gizzard operates under their labels, allowing them to easily remove their music. The only remaining project on Spotify is a collaborative EP with Tropical Fuck Storm, which is still influenced by their contractual arrangement.
