John Corabi Announces Debut Solo Album, Unveils Title Track "New Day"
"'New Day' is a positive, upbeat song with a message of enjoy life!!! Stop whining and complaining about how unfair life is, and enjoy the 'little beautiful things, life offers' and make the changes you need to make your life better!!! Change happens WITHIN..."
"I'm very excited for everybody to hear this new collection of songs! I wanted to put together an album of eclectic, organic songs that are reminiscent of the music I grew up listening to, and I truly believe the mission was accomplished! This is a '60s-'70s sounding classic rock and roll record...Turn it up, and enjoy!!!"
John Corabi, former Mötley Crüe singer, will issue his first full-length solo studio album of original material, New Day, on April 24 via Frontiers Music Srl. The lead single and title track has an accompanying music video and features a bouncy four-minute tune blending hard rock with retro psych-rock influences and grizzled-yet-melodic vocals. The album was recorded in Nashville with producer Marti Frederiksen and includes performances by Evan Frederiksen, Richard Fortus, Paul Taylor, and Charlie Starr. The 12-song tracklist includes previously released singles "Così Bella (So Beautiful)" and "Your Own Worst Enemy."
