But as part of a year-long celebration of Coltrane's 100th birthday in September, the set will land on Impulse! as a Record Store Day exclusive on April 18, ahead of a wider release this September."
"Directed by Kamasi Washington and Mitski collaborator AG Rojas, it features a faithful recreation of New Jersey's Van Gelder Studios on the day A Love Supreme was recorded there. Check out the video below. The "Coltrane 100" programming will also include reissues of classics like Ascension, Africa/Brass and Impressions; a new best-of compilation highlighting his 1957 and 1958 sessions; and a sound installation overseen by hi-fi specialist Devon Cooper at New York's Cooper Hewitt."
