John C. Reilly unveils debut single as alter-ego Mister Romantic
Briefly

John C. Reilly has launched his musical alter-ego, Mister Romantic, releasing his debut single, a cover of the classic song 'Dream.' This track leads to his full album, 'What's Not To Love?', which features 13 songs primarily from the Great American Songbook. Among the covers, Reilly includes tributes to artists like Louis Armstrong and Tom Waits, and collaborates with producer David Garza. He expresses a desire to spread love and empathy through his performances, as showcased in his live debut at SXSW Festival.
“I looked at our weary world a few years ago and tried to think of a way I could spread love and empathy,” Reilly said of the ongoing project.
“So the emotional vaudeville show Mister Romantic was born, out of both hope and despair. What's Not To Love? is a collection of songs from the show.”
