Jelly Roll is set to headline Nashville's first-ever Music City Rodeo, scheduled for May 29-31 at Bridgestone Arena. Accompanied by country stars Reba McEntire and Tim McGraw, this event symbolizes a significant cultural milestone for the city. Jelly Roll reflects on his Nashville roots, comparing this occasion to the excitement of local sports teams' arrivals. The rodeo, organized in partnership with McGraw's entertainment group, will be a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event, merging the vibrancy of country music with rodeo culture, showcasing a unique celebration of Nashville's identity.
As a Nashville native, this felt like a chance to be a part of a history-making event for the city," Jelly Roll said in a press release. "I have vivid memories when it was announced in Nashville that we were getting a hockey team with the Predators, or a football team with the Titans."
Ain't your usual stop, is it boys?" he said in a promotional video for the rodeo. "Right here in the heart of Broadway where honky tonk neon meets daredevil grit, rodeo and country music collide."
Three nights of guts, glory and history in the making," McGraw adds, discussing the upcoming Music City Rodeo.
