Jamie xx said he had a blast making the remix, praised the original song, thanked Robyn, and said he looks forward to playing it on dance floors soon. "Dopamine (Jamie xx Remix)" follows Jamie xx's 2022 remix of xx bandmate Oliver Sim's "GMT" and his 2017 reworking of the xx's "On Hold." "Dopamine" marks Robyn's return seven years after her 2018 studio album.
