Shontelle Sparkles released a debut EP titled Butterfly Effect after a career that included producing music, hosting a podcast, appearing in a music video, and earning the title of 2022 National Entertainer of the Year. Years of background work and lost confidence preceded a creative return prompted by a feature offer from drag mother Trinity the Tuck on the single "Six Six Sex," which also included her drag daughter Jewels Sparkles and Sam Star. Completing the album boosted her self‑esteem and artistic accomplishment. She produced the project with limited funds and a supportive team, and she still auditions for RuPaul's Drag Race.

I stopped doing music, and music production is like drag - you have to continuously do it. It's constantly progressing. So, finishing this album has really made me feel accomplished and has helped my self esteem as a singer and an artist.
I don't have Ru girl money. I'm just here trying to make it, like everybody else in this industry.
You need to do more music.
