Hayley Williams Covers This Is Lorelei's "Perfect Hand"

"We've both been fans of Nate's for a long time, and loved getting to rework one of our favorite This is Lorelei songs. His natural way with lyrics and melodies made it easy to translate the song to a different place for this project. It also happened to be the song that started Power Snatch."

Nate Amos of This Is Lorelei announced a super deluxe edition of his 2024 album Box for Buddy, Box for Star, releasing April 17 via Double Double Whammy. The deluxe version consists entirely of cover versions of the original album's songs performed by various artists. Power Snatch, a new side project from Hayley Williams and Daniel James, covers "Perfect Hand," which inspired the formation of their project. Additional covers include Jeff Tweedy with Fantasy of a Broken Heart on "My Boy Limbo," Waxahatchee's "Where's Your Love Now," Momma's "A Song That Sings About You," Sasami's "I'm All Fucked Up," and Tim Heidecker's "An Extra Beat for You and Me." The release also features previously released covers from MJ Lenderman, Snail Mail, and Amos's family members.
