The record spans 12 songs in total and was produced by Kid Harpoon, who also co-wrote and produced 2022's Harry's House. That previous album churned out the massive hit " As It Was" as well as the singles " Daylight," " Satellite," " Music for a Sushi Restaurant," and " Late Night Talking.""
"In 2024, Styles' longtime friend and One Direction bandmate Liam Payne died after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. He was 31. Styles penned an emotional tribute to Payne online, as did his fellow One Direction members."

Styles supported Harry's House with a Coachella headlining set in 2022, won the 2023 Grammy for Album of the Year, performed on awards shows, and acted in Don't Worry Darling. After touring he largely retreated from the public eye. In 2024 his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne died at 31.
